Be like mod, 50/60hz and region mod your PAL SNES, and be Australian, that way you dont have to look at the ugly NTSC model.
Well, I know out of experience the image is more stable on a native 60Hz Super Famicom than on a modded 50Hz SNES. So I use my PowerPak on the SF most of the time...

Maybe modding a SF to take 50Hz and then switching it back to native 60 Hz would be the better solution for a regionfree console with a stable image...

Machblue...

I plan on keeping a bunch of it. All the boxed stuff for sure. But I'm going to unload most of the loose carts. Both the NES and SNES. Selling them should put me back close to even on the deal. That's usually my goal when I buy big lots.

a craigslist ad was posted last night about a "HUGE" yard sale that was selling some video games this morning. last time a similar ad was posted i showed up literally 2 minutes too late and had to watch a dude dressed in a zelda jacket walked out of the garage with a box bursting with boxed genesis titles. i wasn't about to let this shit happen again.

the HUGE sale was selling a 25 dollar n64, a 30 dollar dreamcast, about 30 modded xboxs for 50 bucks a pop...and a 5 dollar snes mini. i obviously bought the snes mini. pretty good deal, but i like the fact that every other console was marked close to their respected going rates but the mini was completely off for some reason.
if you took a shit, please put it back

For how long?

Update - My gamestop in Illinois no longer carries PS2 games. I'll have to check the mall one, but this kinda sucks.

It's on until September 11th though, for those wondering still.

Last week I picked up Sigma Star Saga and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising from a flea market for $14. I thought it seemed kind of high, but looking on Ebay, it looks like I actually got a decent deal.

Drat. Sounds like I got hosed then. Both were cart only.

And to top it off, I saw Jet Set Radio Future (complete) for Xbox in the local thrift store last week for $2, but didn't have any cash on me. When I went back earlier this week, it was nowhere to be seen.

yikes. Maybe not quite hosed. But I don't think the price should've gone over $10 for those two carts.

made a preeeeeeetty decent score today

All one purchase via Craigslist:

Sega Genesis Model 2 CIB even has the bag for the manual ;)
This was the main thing I wanted in the lot as I've been trying to score a Genesis on the cheap and in good condition for a while now.

Image

Dude also tossed in a Game Gear w/ AC adapter and car charger (it works perfectly I might add).

Below that stuff you can see the games I got with the Genesis

Unfortunately only Sonic 2 and Sonic Spinball actually have the carts :(

These were the Game Gear games he included.

Ms. Pacman
Ecco The Dolphin
NBA Action (yippee)

All CIB

Also Sonic 2 which isn't pictured because it was in the Game Gear and my girlfriend played in on the ride home.

Oh and he also threw in a few NES games he had sitting around:

Double Dribble
Super Mario Bros.
RC Pro AM
Duck Hunt
Metroid
Pro-Wrestling
Gyromite
Kid Icarus
Kung Fu Heroes (w/ manual)
Joust (w/ manual)
Rush N Attack
Barker Bill's Trickshooting
Solstice
Tecmo Super Bowl
Rad Racer
Super Mario Bros. 2

The grand total for all of this gaming goodness:

$45
