She says I'm getting an HDTV next week, and that cable internet will be available where I live next month. I'm going to hold her to her word, especially since I bet her $50 she's wrong.

Gaining weight again, I'm 6'3 and back up to 230. I walked on the tredmill for an hour yesterday and my entire body felt sore. I've been trying to exercise more consistent. Once my body is able to exercise and begin to jog consistently, I'll be able to shred the points and turn that fat back into water in no time.
YOU: Hitler rocks
Michelle: Hitler was a dictator.
YOU: and he rocks
Michelle: I see.
YOU: yes
Michelle: OK.
YOU: do you love him?
Michelle: Yes, I do.

Walk, jog, push ups, sit ups. I'm 6'1(ish) and weigh about 183. Just sweat it out and let it out, and you'll be dropping pounds in a quick fast. And it's not fun, but if you give up all meat (including fish) you'd be surprised how quickly you can shed pounds.
But keep it up man! Sounds like you're making progress which is great to hear.

Seems to me a better suggestion would be to give up all sugar. Stick to a diet of lean meat, fresh veggies, and a bit of fresh fruit and you're looking at a pretty quick weight drop. Whatever works though, we're all different animals. Best thing is to have a positive attitude!
EDIT: Forgot to say: YOU CAN DOOOOO IT!
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Not just sugar, but also processed starch and potatoes.
Either way can work though, depending on a person's metabolism. Enough physical activity can work off sugars, starch and fatty foods, whereas a lean diet requires less activity.
