One of my favorites!BoringSupreez wrote:It does, and reading the book it was based on, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, helps as well. Blade Runner isn't one of those movies that spends a lot of time explaining everything to the audience, it expects you to do some thinking and research of your own. Well, the Director's Cut does anyway (haven't watched the theatrical version).final fight cd wrote:blade runner
this was on sci-fi last night. 3.5 stars out of 4, harrison ford staring, cool story, snatcher influenced: i was expecting to be very entertained. but, i was a little disappointed with it. i thought it was a little slow and a little boring. i don't think i quite understood the ending when the android saved deckard's life. and what about when deckard's partner tells him that rachael will eventually die and then deckard finds his calling card next to rachael?
i do think this would be a movie that gets better with subsequent watches, however.
I'm kind of mixed on which is the best version. Harrison Ford's narration adds a Detective Noir feel about the movie, but I like the non narrated version to really enjoy the sites of Syd Mead.
