I use USB Loader GX.
Xeogred wrote:Can you literally just hook up an external via USB and access the ISO's through the Wii like that? That'd be hilariously awesome if that's the case, I'd probably stick to that too then.
If you have the homebrew channel installed, you can do pretty much anything. You need to download a program that loads games via USB and run it from the Homebrew Channel. Either USB Loader GX or Configurable USB Loader. There's guides on around the net on how to softmod your Wii, it took me less than 2 hours to do it. All you really need is an SD card and each guide is different depending on your Wii firmware.

Wow, that video made me shiver! I want this game more and more!

It also gives me that PS1 JRPG feeling that I loved (great memories playing final fantasy 7-8-9). :D

I can see it giving off that vibe. And knowing Monolith Soft and the director, although they "say" this game is less on story than Xenogears and Xenosaga, I'm sure there's still a lot more meat to it than 90% of JRPG's out there today.

Can't wait to play it :)

EDIT

OMG and some good sales news. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011- ... elda-rises

I did my part. You guys do it too. Help this game become a niche success so Nintendo brings more obscure Japanese games to the west.

Honestly wasn't impressed by anything in that trailer, standard JRPG stuff. However, the reviews I've seen for this game have really peaked my interest. I kind of want to play it now

I want to play the game badly as well, NoA still won't get their heads out of themselves though, so it doesn't look like we'll be getting it. I'll probably softmod my Wii then buy a copy though, I know a guy in the UK that'll send it to me.
Huge RPG fan.

And if they're still possibly planning to bring it over here, their little "waiting game" is only going to hurt them in the long run.
- Obviously, a lot of people are importing it already and will keep doing so. There goes some potential sales.
- The longer they wait, the less people are going to care about it in general.

They've just been terrible about this whole situation in general.

Exactly. Besides, anyone who really wants to play the game has already bought the PAL version and softmodded their Wii or just simply downloaded it.
I really doubt that an RPG this late in the life cycle of the Wii would really appeal to many more gamers and those whom it did appeal to have already gone the former route.
If NOA is planning to release it in the states, it will not sell.

Still working on downloading this. All the downloads are being taken down rather quickly. I wanted to try before I buy, but I may just cave and buy before I try. :P

It's worth getting. Besides, it seems like it has a somewhat low production run so even if you don't like it, you most certainly will be able to sell easily later I think.
