The Passion Of The Christ, wow, Mel Gibson REALLY hates jews, christian people are portrayed as nice, beatiful people (Monica Belucci is in this, so... you can see my point ) but jews are shown as evil, ugly people (Even the kids are monsters) that just want to cause damage. Not cool Mel, not cool, I'm an atheist and even I was offended.

BTW The film itself is average, just read the bible, that one focuses more on who Jesus was instead of focusing on the torture.

Don't get attached to Pa Kent, and there is a inner struggle a'la Nolan's Batman. If things don't change, it's pretty much Superman has to decide to either take over the world or save it.

batman and robin was on tv recently. i think it was batman and robin. it was the one with george cloney and the other guy as robin. god, was it awful. first of all, geroge cloney as batman? what the fuck. i wish a director could create gotham city in a comic book style without it coming off as cheesy as fuck.

i was only able to watch maybe 30 minutes of it. but, is that the movie where robin cleans his clothes karate style? that is the best-worst movie scene in the history of movies.

It's not that bad

The intent was to show the stations of the cross, which it did very effectively. It's not for everybody (I thought as a movie it was average, but achieved its goal) but it sure as hell does show the passion of Christ, which is the title. And look up the word "passion", it's not what you usually think of.

I already knew that, it's just... did we really need a film about this? If anything we need a film that's about what Jesus did, not how people tortured him, I know that was the point but still, I'd rather watch something... tamer. Now, for the good stuff, the hallucinations and dream sequences are beatifully shot, it's incredibly how great they are.

Speaking of a movie that got mocked relentlessly, You, Me and Dupree. I watched it as I was working on something and didn't find it to be as bad as everyone said. I don't think I'd watch it again but not terrible.
Interesting though, it was the umteenth time I've seen the Irvine Nikken building used in a movie as a company location. Real close to where I grew up. Still trippy as I could have been driving behind on the freeway during filming in any of those movies it has been used in.

I really don't get why after making the successful Batman Forever, the studios decided they needed to put MORE restrictions on the film. They pretty much turned it into a toy commercial.

Hell George Clooney regrets being in the movie too.

Schumacker really wanted the chance to direct a more serious Batman film after this. He felt he needed to redeem himself in the eyes of fans. Kinda depressing when you think about it. He's always been a really good sport about the criticisms at least. I actually have a lot of respect for the guy.

Same here, I really like his films, I even enjoyed The Number 23.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (2009) – The film was ok for the first half or so, but unlike most Potter films I’ve seen, I felt that the directing, acting, and general pacing got worse and worse in the last 1/3 or so of the film. The action scenes were much less epic, the suspense was generally missing, and the cutting from scene to scene was not at all well done. We did learn some interesting information I suppose, but it was unveiled in a less than compelling way. This is probably on par with Chamber of Secrets, in that both are stinkers in the series.
