Samba De Amigo Song Downloads/VMU Save

Post by Guinness »

Hey! So I finally picked up a original copy of Samba De Amigo and maracas and I'm loving it. It was about a ten year wait for this game for me and was well worth it. This game is unbelievably fun and I know now what I'll be busting out for my friends for Cinco de Mayo! However the 12 in games songs are easy to unlock and leaves you wanting more. I understand that there was 9 songs available for download for a period of time following the release of Samba De Amigo that you could save to VMU. Is there anyone out there who still has a VMU save file with the downloadable songs that they can share?

Thanks

GameFAQs has em. Good luck getting them onto your VMU though! You'll either need to use the DC to connect to the internet via dial up, or get one of those Nexus cards I've never seen anyway.

They're great though, mostly classics Sega stuff.

Use Speud's VMU Tool. It's a great app for managing VMU gamesaves, and it includes a ton of saves. That is how I was able to get the extra Samba de Amigo songs on, the extra songs are loads of fun.

Hey!!! I just wanna say thanks to everyone who replied. Big big thanks to Caboose, I checked out Dream Explorer 0.8.5 (VMU Tool) and it's great. I got my Samba De Amigo full unlock save and tried out the downloadable songs, great fun and the game feels complete now. I haven't even gone into all the other areas Dream Explorer has, such as making your own VMU icon or changing the boot menu background but I'll play around later. This app has it all. In anycase, to anyone who hasn't tried Dream Explorer it's very much recommended. Check it out at the link Caboose posted above.

Thanks again.

I believe so. I also read doing that can make cards unstable, so ask around or try at your own risk. I don't think I'll be trying it. Still a very cool app, it has so many features. Does anyone know where I can get a high quality front and back cover for Dream Explorer I can print out and put in a Jewel Case? DCemulation.com Has a lot but none for Dream Explorer.

It's just for official one, iirc. What makes it unstable is certain games and how they read the data.
Could be wrong tho... My memory is a little faded on this.
