Unexpected, but it's all good in the hood. My preference is Ugly Dolls.mjmjr25 wrote:Ummm, those are uhhh, yeah, those are mine. I collect video games, nutcrackers/smokers, and...beanie babiesdedalusdedalus wrote:What lucky kids you have. I didn't have all this cool stuff at my house growing up.

N64 - I have everything I consider good, with the exception of Clayfighter-Sculptor's Cut.The Last Horseman wrote:Nice. I hope that one day I can get a girl that understands me like your wife.![]()
I'd like to see what your N64 and Gamecube collections consist of, but I'm not going to expect you to list or anything, just curious.
That was the first library I collected and I held onto it for a bit, but afterwhile reality set in - I never played half the games (mainly sports) and they take up a ton of space. So I eventually sold the 130 games I felt weren't worth owning for me - I now have 167 of the 297.
Earlier this year:

And Now:

Gamecube, I never was very close, I had just over 400 games and was working toward the library. I made a decision to stop before it got out of hand though, 700 GCN games take up a ton of room and same as N64, only about 60% are enjoyable imo - so I kept the ones I play a lot. The only games I still want are Cubivore and Risk, that will bring me to a final total of 243 and i'll consider that library settled.

Awesome stuff mjm, I am glad that I could help out in any small way.
Are your kids really tall or are those cabs just that short? I have always been intrigued by them, but it looks like I'd have to bend over to play!

Very nice, and thank you for the pictures. Very clean. I have a copy of Cubivore, and I see why it has become so coveted. My friend tried to badger it out of me for years after I bought it for 5 bucks. Now its worth like 10 times that. :p Also, I really like the labels, it's a great idea, even if done before. I'm going for about 15 or so N64 games I want, trying to get them in boxes....
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360
WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

That's some epic shelving, I love it. And those candy cabs are the perfect size for kids. I've always liked that they're designed to sit at, but I never even considered how much better they'd be for kids compared to American styled cabs.

They are definately meant to be sat down. I am building a bench and 2 stools - I understand that the official Taito stools are very attractive and comfortable, and are sought after.dsheinem wrote:Awesome stuff mjm, I am glad that I could help out in any small way.

I'm a little over 6'3" and am quite comfortable sitting on (stop-gap chair for now). You can easily fit 2 bigger guys on one candy cab and be comfortable by angling toward the side a bit (which most of us do at stand up cabs anyways). With my set up, both cabs next to each other - if I had 4 big guys over, i'd have to separate them another foot or so, but that wouldn't be a problem.

Great thread, great collection, and all around great guy.
Also, if I could count the number of times I've had that conversation with my wife.
