...You know what. Maybe if Rockstar released some gameplay footage ages ago, instead of all those bullshit cutscene montages, I'd have had some interest in it before this point. I still want some direct feed footage, but from this, it actually looks like they built a solid engine that looks AND runs nice. They couldn't seem to pull that off last gen. I fully expected this thing to have glitches everywhere, terrible animation, and unplayable frame rates.DCAllAmerican wrote: - Gameplay Video

My main reason for never getting into this series was because of the AWFUL framerates, controls, difficulty. The only reason people played it was because you could kill a hooker. Well guess what, that makes you retarded! However, this game seems like it may have fixed all of the problems that plagued the 3D releases. And if so, I might actually buy it once it goes down in price. Personally, I loved crackdown, but that was because you got to play as both a hero and a villain. I mean, I loved being able to drive around and just kill all the pedestrians and have the cops try to get me, only for me to blow up all of their cars and kill them.
If this game is as good or better than crackdown, I'll check it out. Honestly, I hope they release a demo for 360, considering I want to play it before buying it. Too much hype around it to trust reviews. Plus, in a lot of footage, I see the game chugging, yet in other pieces of footage, I see it run silky smooth. I'm guessing the engine isn't super optimized yet...
Rufflemao. Worth 300 dollars, eh hilary? Seriously, that's pushing it. I still wonder if IGN would give this game a ten if it DIDN'T have the naughty bits.

So fucking corrupt. "WORLD EXCLUSIVE MEGATON REVIEW!!!....as long as we give it a flawless score, that is."DCAllAmerican wrote:http://ps3.ign.com/objects/793/793799.html - IGN gave it a perfect score in ALL categories

All ya need to think about is that the last 3 core entries got retarded high scores as well, and they didn't deserve them. I admit, GTA4 is the first game that actually looks good, but there's not a chance it's the best game ever. We really need to ignore all professional reviews.
