Sweet! I haven't had any one-on-one time with the DVR yet, but now I'm looking forward to it more. I knew there was no way they wouldn't bring Panthro back. How's his voice?

Didn't really think about it too much. Which I guess that means they did good with the voice.

The voice of PanthBRO is Kevin Michael Richardson, who is a half decent voice actor, but it always sounds like he's got something caught in his throat, lol. I always marvel when I remember that the original voice of Panthro in the old series was the actor that played Cliff Huxtable's father in the Cosby Show.

So far I've been enjoying the new Tcats show. The 2nd ep was kinda lame (the Sand Sea one) but the 3rd was almost a tear jerker with the Petalars and their aging process. I thought it was awesome.

Even though Richardson is a decent voice actor for 'large badass' characters - I still think Keith David should be the go-to guy when it comes to the older, wiser characters. Dude's just awesome.

Dont know if this has been discussed yet but has anyone caught the Black Dynamite pilot that's been on Adult Swim? If you liked the film, the cartoon is/will be right up your alley. It's freakin' hilarious, just like the BD movie.

The new Looney Tunes remains awful. So, so unfunny.

Speaking of Western Animation, IDW is printing and selling new TMNT comics written by the talented Brian Lynch. Ask your local comic shop for a copy, you won't be disappointed,

Brian Lynch is awesome! That's the same guy Joss Whedon chose to write Angel After the Fall, which is essentially Angel season 6. He's one of the few guys working at IDW who ever could write Angel characters properly

Haven't watched it myself yet, but I'd heard it was good. What did you find wrong with it, specifically? Did they get the personalities messed up or something?

Yes he is. He's an all around great guy that gets half the credit he deserves (although he does make fun of my boners).

You should check out "Everybody's Dead" published by IDW. It's a great read, and Brian worked on it for years. And of course he wrote HOP and has a credit on the upcoming PUSS N BOOTS. In short: BUY ALL OF BRIAN LYNCH'S COMICS.

Specifically? It isn't funny.

So, just plain old bad writing, I guess.

The characters are off, the writing is off, the animation is...okay. But they throw in silly stuff like Taz was a mistreated pet. WB cartoons really don't need an origin story.

And the jokes. Ugh.
