The Best Xbox 360 Exclusives
Re: The Best Xbox 360 Exclusives
Lost Odyssey is pretty much the only reason the 360 looks appealing to me in any way. From the little I've seen, that game looks amazing.
Re: The Best Xbox 360 Exclusives
It isn't. It's the same old JRPG story you've played 1,000 times before, and the load times are brutal -- which is only exacerbated by the fact that the game employs random battles. Frequently. Very frustrating game to try and play through for very little payoff. If that's all that looks appealing to you on the 360, I daresay it's not the system for you!brunoafh wrote:Lost Odyssey is pretty much the only reason the 360 looks appealing to me in any way. Yeah it's definitely not. I'm such a sucker for JRPGs though that I want to get one for cheap down the road just to play that game. I want to play Ninja Blade too, but I can just play it on PC. The system's library really does nothing for me.irixith wrote:If that's all that looks appealing to you on the 360, I daresay it's not the system for you!

I know you'll like Lost Odyssey and it's not that frustrating at all. It's pretty much more FFX than FFX and the later games ever will be. If you want the lost PSX FF, that game is it pretty much.

I do feel that JRPGs have gotten stale. For all the hate FF X 13 got, I thought its combat system injected something fun and new into the genrejfrost wrote:There's Blue Dragon too.brunoafh wrote:Yeah it's definitely not. I want to play Xenoblade, because everyone is saying that it's the game that finally breathes some life into JRPGs and evolves them a bit, but it's looking like I'll never see it in North America. It's been getting rave reviews and sounds like the new king of the genre

i think tales of vesperia is xbox only in the us i think it came to the ps3 only in japan. i really enjoyed it and the voice acting was pretty good better then star ocean lol

Re: The Best Xbox 360 Exclusives
The best 360 exclusives are on the Xbox Live Indie Games channel. Astroman, Cthulhu saves the World, Protect Me Knight, Olu, 3D Infinity, the Arkedo Series games, and countless more. I'd say that the 360 is the retro enthusiast's dream console, honestly.
