The Best Xbox 360 Exclusives

Post by DomitorInvictus »

What are they?

It seems to me that most console games out there are on both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The PS3 is really starting to look more appealing to me with a larger selection of quality exclusives. So what games are there to justify my ownership of a 360?

Oh, and I am not interested in neither Halo nor Gears of War.

Hmm. Let's see....
Halo, if you like that stuff. I only like Reach and the first game, but whatever.

Gears of War. A personal favorite, but a game with a very select taste.

Alan Wake. It's like a survival action thriller thing. Not sure how to describe.

Dead Rising. Zombies and pictures of said zombies. Can be fun.

Left 4 Dead. Available on PC, but I can't use mouse and keyboard, so I play it here.

Fable Games. Not my cup of tea, I know many who like it though.

The first Mass Effect. You have to get this version to get the whole story.

Earth Defense Force 2017. 50's moster movie game thing. Fun.

There might be more, those are off the top of my head. I also really prefer the 360 controller myself, I have large hands and they fit with this controller better, along with the fact the controller doesn't feel like one for the NES, but bigger.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

Well it's also worth mentioning console exclusive DLC and exclusive digital download only games

I believe Viva Pinata is on PC, but it was originally a 360 game. Also, Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise is still a 360 exclusive I believe. That's the sequel to Viva Pinata

The Mass Effect series will always be a 360 series to me no matter what other platforms it pops up on. The series was originally created for the 360 and given the carry over feature, most people who played it on the 360 will play the sequels on the 360 as well.

Tomb Raider Underworld has exclusive downloadable content not available on the PS 3 version

The Dishwasher Dead Samurai and Dead Samurai Vampire Smile are only available on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

It's also worth mentioning that Microsoft has exclusivity deals with some companies meaning that some new digital download games will always be available on Xbox Live Arcade for a month or so before they appear on the Playstation network

If you're a fan of Peter Jackson's King Kong, the HD version is only available on the 360 and is an easy 1000 achievements as well

Deathsmiles is 360 exclusive

Ninja Gaiden 2, in its original, non-remixed form is a 360 exclusive. The PS 3 version is a very different game for better or for worse

It's worth mentioning that there are a number of multi-platform games that are considered better on the 360, like The Orange Box. You can check the Lens of Truth and Digital Foundry websites to learn which games are better on the 360 or the PS 3

Technically it's not exclusive, since there is a PS3 port only in Japan, but if you're a fan of survival horror and don't wish to import, Deadly Premonition is well worth checking out.
