I completely forgot Megamix also had the original game on it.
Tails
Re: Tails
Gah, I'm frustrated.
I tried to burn Megamix, and succeeded (got that silly text file they put on there), but it doesn't run on my Sega CD. It gives the disc a quick spin, then goes right back to telling me how to open the tray, as though there weren't a disc in there at all.
Just to be sure I didn't fuck it up, I used it to boot from disc on Kega Fusion, and it worked perfectly.
I burned at 4x. I don't know what the problem is.

Re: Tails
Try burning at the lowest speed possible, but I don't know what it is for the program you're using, but try burning it closest to 1x. I don't want to sound like a noob when it comes to burning (because I am), but I think that will help.CFFJR wrote:Gah, I'm frustrated.

Re: Tails
For some reason this thread made me think: a Metroid / Castlevania style game featuring Tails (and not Sonic) could be pretty cool provided it was well made. The level design would be quite different from the one in a regular Sonic, but with some familiar elements, and you could pick up moves enabling access to other areas (Curl into ball, Spin Dash, Flying).
I have no idea what made me think about it.

That sounds awesome, I would totally play that game.Ivo wrote:a Metroid / Castlevania style game featuring Tails (and not Sonic) could be pretty cool provided it was well made. Reading that...I'm kinda amazed Sega hasn't stolen that idea already. It makes a lot of sense.Ziggy587 wrote:That sounds awesome, I would totally play that game.Ivo wrote:a Metroid / Castlevania style game featuring Tails (and not Sonic) could be pretty cool provided it was well made. Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
