What RTS games are you playing?
I have been playing Mech Commander 1 & 2, Starcraft 2, Age of Empire 3.
Re: What RTS games are you playing?
I recently played through SupCom and the expansion. The game is kind of broken in the campaign because the computer will let you build up the game ender units and completely destroy you. You just have to get some early defences to hold off their initial harassment. The expansion helps; there's more scripted large attacks that overwhelm your defenses.

I don't think you play Supreme Commander or Total Annihilation for the campaign anyways, lol. Had some awesome LAN parties with those back in the day.

I'm going to play Warlocked on GBC. I've never played an RTS and thought I'd start on this title.

Yeah, I don't generally play RTS's multiplayer beyond the initial couple months. But a good campaign I'll play repeatedly. And even though the computer is easy, it's still fun to build a battery of artillery and just sit back and watch their base disappear.Xeogred wrote:I don't think you play Supreme Commander or Total Annihilation for the campaign anyways, lol. Rise on Nations, I always keep raving about this game, must be my favorite Dune II style RTS alongside with Age of Empires 2.

We should play sometime. My gf and I constantly are on the look out for other players, as even on toughest it can get a bit easy at times.Korpi wrote:Rise on Nations, I always keep raving about this game, must be my favorite Dune II style RTS alongside with Age of Empires 2.
Other than Rise of Nations (usually ToP), I also get am trying to get into Age of Mythology: The Titans, but Medium is too easy, and Hard is way too hard. There's no in between, and that sucks. It's definitely better with more people.
