What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

The Ring, it's still pretty intense (Seriously, I can't believe people complain about PG-13 horror films being tame when something like The Last Exorcism or this have 1 or 2 fairly bloody sequences) and it definetely is as good as the original (I love both and they are pretty different).

I don't give an F -- I prefer The Ring to Ringu.

The thing is that Ringu is fairly slow and it doesn't clears much of the plot, while The Ring solves almost every question in a fast-paced, tense packaging that's pretty awesome.

I bought a giant asian version collection of these movies a couple years ago and have never regretted the purchase ;)

Seen the new Conan movie in 2D, I can't imagine why people would fall for the scam to see it in 3D when I really didn't see anything that looked 3D worthy. Regardless, the movie was excellent.

Glad to hear it was good. I plan on seeing it. I love Conan, and I'm looking forward to the actor's portrayal of Conan, since I'm a big Stargate: Atlantis fan.

Good as in it's comparable to Howard's Conan, to other writers like Jordan's portrayal of the character, similar to Schwarzenegger's Conan, like the television show, what?

I'm an enormous fan of Robert E. Howard's Conan stories, and I love Schwarzenegger's portrayal, but the trailers from this one really turned me away. It'll take some convincing to get me to see it.

When I first saw the trailer, my first reaction was "Is he supposed to talk so much?"

Also, watched The Castle of Cagliostro last night. It's been a while since I've watched any Lupin and despite my love of Miyazaki, I'd never seen it before. Loved the movie though. It's a great little adventure film.
