This was so long ago... You're 13, right? My cousin is older than you.AmericanMuffin wrote:I am if you need some help

I have 99% of all the manuals I had as a kid. The only reason I would lose a manual is because I would take it out to read it and it was get misplaced somehow and lost forever.
Re: Why do some people lose/throw away game manuals?
Some of my game manuals are older than 13. Also, they're kept in the box, which make a nicer stack than the slippery plastic game case itself because I could not afford shelves.flamepanther wrote:You're 13, right? My cousin is older than you.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.

I found a small piece of it. It was in the back room of a Play N' Trade.Haoie wrote:I hope there's a missing game manual heaven.

The reason why kids lost/threw away manuals is that they were naughty spoiled kids. I told my cousin when he got playstation 1 that his lil bro would damage the discs. I don't like how people show video games for sale in great condition, but the game is lying on the dirty floor.

While I was preparing supper earlier my neice said "Hey look my library book just flew away!" I turned around and it was laying in the front room. "I'll make sure it can't get away again" *stomp*

That bugs the crap out of me too. I either take pictures of discs in the case, on a quarter, or on a foam donut from a CDR/DVDrR cakebox.benderx wrote:I don't like how people show video games for sale in great condition, but the game is lying on the dirty floor.

I laugh when people claim a game is in mint condition and have the CDs lying on the ground.
When I was ebaying games I'd usually angle the case so the disc / back insert could be seen and turn the manual around so the condition of it could also be seen. Multi disc games got kind of tricky..

Re: Why do some people lose/throw away game manuals?
I once lent out a collectable, mint, complete, valuable, copy of Albert Odyssey for the Sega Saturn to a good buddy of mine because I fixed a Saturn and gave it to him. He gave it back sans the manual. I panicked and he was all, "Relax it's just in my room and I'll give it to you tomorrow." That was 13 years ago. I keep getting random yearly emails from him declaring, "Hey I found your manual! I was moving and came across it....I'll mail it to you..." I got fed up and had to scour ebay for YEARS and spent $15 on a mint manual...
