Well that certainly helps, haha. Well yeah, I definitely made sure the manager got my name and info, so that's something.

A friend suggested maybe I take a look into smaller community banks around the place, noting they're a bit easier to get into unlike the big ones. Might look into that over the next few days.

Still got that security desk job lined up, but yeah. Got two weeks to maybe find something better or different.

Not today but yesterday...

Smile: Finally figured out how to get my DS Edge card to work. Yay!

Ticked: My pops asked me to changed the oil on his car. Not that big of a task (I always change my own oil) normally. But the last time he got his oil changed, he took it to Wal Mart. Some brainiac decided to put thread lock on the oil pan bolt. Why... WHY would you do this?

So were you able to get the bolt off? I always wondered how strong that loc-tite stuff is.

Why would you go to Walmart for an oil change?

lol, I just had too. When I worked for Jiffy Lube for three years we got customers by the dozens coming back from Walmart to fix a lot of stuff. Granted, I'm sure many here might have horror stories of Jiffy Lube too and trust me ... I was there, haha. Gotta know some trustworthy people when it comes to this stuff.

Smile: American Muffin's antics. This kid has gotta be fucking with us.

Frown: It is hot and I have no beer.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Wait on this thread or everywhere? I always ask questions and you guys bring up the horrible past. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I actually have never got my oil changed any where but my driveway. My pops on the other hand, he's always telling me horror stories about when he gets his oil changed. I believe it was at a Jiffy Lube where he was getting his oil changed, he said he heard banging so he turned the corner to look in the garage door. They had one of his back wheels off and a dude was smacking the drum with a hammer. Every time, it reminds me of The Mask... "I only brought it in for an oil change." Why are you checking my coolant? Why are you bringing my cabin filter out to me? Put that shit back in my car so I can get the fuck out of here!

But even in a perfect world where they don't start taking your car apart, or putting thread lock on the oil pan bolt, I would still rather do it myself. You get to choose the oil you want, and the price you want to pay for it. You also get to choose the filter you want. And if you want to put an additive in. But one thing I really like to do is let the oil drip for a while. I use to take the bolt off the oil pan and then go in the house and do stuff for a few hours. When you bring it in, as soon as the oil is done pouring out they put the bolt back on, they don't let it drip. I bet when you let it drip you can probably get another 1/2 cup of oil out of there, at least. In fact, next time I do my oil I'm gonna measure how much the drips fill up. I'm curious now.

I had a friend that got his oil changed at Wal Mart once. He said they stripped the oil pan bolt. At least they didn't do that to my dad's car. That would have been far worse. Still, I'd like to find the guy that put thread lock on the bolt and ask him exactly why he did that.
