Need help running spice world for the ps1!!!

Post by weasels »

i know what your thinking....but let me explain. im doing a stream on RBTV and was aiming to play and beat this game....looks like i ran into a snag though.

when running the game everything seems to be good. but the controler does not respond to the game. at first i thought it was the controller that wasn't working...but in both the emulators controller set up screens and the control panel my controller is recognized. i am useing epsxe but just to test if it was the emulator i tried it on pSX with the same results. can anyone help me? and quick?

This will sound obvious, but have you gone to config > game pad yet? Just plugging in the usb controller doesn't reset the default keyboard configuration for the controls. From there, select pad 1 and all of the current controls for it should appear. Then, enter in the buttons on your actual playstation controller instead of the buttons on the keyboard.

yes, this has all been done. I'm starting to think it's the compadiblity of the emulators for this one.

Interesting. Allegedly, Spice World should run fine with ePSXe 1.7.0. If your controller is working with other games, try enabling "SIO IRQ always on" in the misc menu.

You can also toggle it by hitting f4 during emulation if I remember correctly.
