A Message from Me to The Racketboy Mods and Community
Dear Racketboy Community and Moderators,
You may have noticed that I have been a nuisance to the community here posting immature, attention-grabbing threads that have been annoying. Like the one about creepypasta or the one about freedomof speech here. I just want to say Sorry for posting these annoying ones and tryin to get away with it. I have now noticed that I have done it for attention. I would also like to thank the mods for beimg so strict about it. You guys make this forum as great as it is today. I dont want to look like a suck up because I want this thread to be 100% serious. If I can do anthing to make up for what I've caused Ill do it. Don't just say Do better with these forums because I will.i just want to say Im sorry for whate Ive done and I understand what you guys want out of me and Ill do anything to make up for it.
-Jack

Isn't this thread drawing attention to yourself?
Best advice I can give is to just "lurk moar". Get a feel for what this forum is about, and - I know this is hard at 13 (I remember that age) - try not to be combative. For example, in the creepypasta thread, as soon as you got some bad reviews, no more than 1 post explaining what you were doing would have been necessary. Good to chill, and not have to always defend yourself. If people don't like creepypasta here, accept that and move on. But seriously, hang out, read threads, and get a feel for what this community is about. I myself am still doing this.

Don't worry, I was 14 when I joined. Just do as o.pwuaioc said, try to get a feel of the forums, read posts to know other members and get a feel of the place.

Seriously, just have a good time, dude.. There are so many awesome and knowledgeable people and topics here on Racketboy that you'll find it much more time-consuming to just research new threads rather than even try to draw attention to yourself - and you'll learn so much about new games and systems, (not to mention non-game things like music, movies, and a ton of other "real-life" hobbies outside of our main passion!)
As they've said already - don't be afraid to lurk; it's not deplorable! The mods here are all regular, normal human-beings that all started out as newbies to the site as well, (well, except for Noise - he was shat straight out of a Gameboy's battery compartment and was prophecized to become the Redux Boy - Conqueror of Pop-Tarts!)
You sound like a cool enough dude - what are your favorite systems or games and why? Make yourself identifiable in a positive light.. (the apology letter is a commendable step - but some may see it as attention-grabbing..) Like to write? Get a feel for how threads are posed and bring up an interesting idea or notion. My first post, as was many peeps on here, was a question about something I didn't know enough about.. Ask questions, little dude! We don't bite, but most of us have a snarky sense of humor, so take absolutely NOTHING personal.. We're all just having fun..
Finally, before you post something - CHECK OUT the search bar at the top right of your screen next to the RacketBoy header! Because 70% of the time, it's already a thread, and you don't want to go down an already heavily trod-den road.. The best part about RB.com is that it's the go-to site for all things retro-gaming, and that can only be true if every bit of information is streamlined and accessible through as few google searches at a time..
Have fun, AmericanMuffin! Don't let this first week on racketboy deter you from becoming a regular on these boards!

Its cool man, you're just like a little brother that wants to hang out with the big kids!
You are testing out your boundaries here and as long as you keep it cool and dont do some dorky shit, you'll be fine here.
Its an awkward phase, being young. It will get better.

Try and set a record for number of threads locked without a ban in the shortest amount of time possible.
