I can confirm they do. I bought the Red Wii Remote Plus and nunchuk from PlayAsia. That is only officially available in Japan (and the limited NA release of the Red Wii).

I have two remote condoms that came with a new remote (one sized for a remote with the motion plus, one without) and I have never, ever, used them. Never even put them on.

They work the same. Just that nice red color. Whenever I play with it I want to go to Dairy Queen and get a cherry dipped ice cream cone. They also come with some Japanese club nintendo codes. I gave mine to Inazuma since I wasn't ever going to use them.

I didn't, but I never thought the thing was unsafe in the first place.

At the time, I wrote it off as a bunch of whiny bitches looking for a reason to piss and moan. I just rolled my eyes and successfully ignored the whole thing.
