She has been missing since May. I honestly thought she was dead. I wonder how long she'll stay this time?

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
So my ps3 just randomly fucked itself.
I shut it off with the controller as I always do, and the thing beeped at me at locked up.
Got it started up again, and wouldn't you know it, the hard disk is corrupt.
I sat for half an hour while it restored itself, only for it to display what I've read is a classic symptom: Upon completing the restore, the system restarted, and it is now doing the restore again.
So my hard drive is fucked, which means all of my data from several ps1, 2, and 3 games is lost along with my downloads.
And not 5 minutes before all this happened I had just finished completing everything in Mortal Kombat.
Now I'm stuck in a god damn loop, and I'm going to have to fuck around with the options in safe mode to hopefully get it working again, and worst case scenario buy a new hard drive for the damn thing.
I can't start everything over. I don't want to deal with this mess, much less a new hard drive.
If I sound at all calm here, its because I can't write down the words I'm actually saying and thinking. Someone's bound to get offended.

you could try plugging the HDD into your computer and formatting it from there.

You could even attempt a recovery program if it isn't too late.AppleQueso wrote:you could try plugging the HDD into your computer and formatting it from there.

This is what I'm planning to try.BRIK wrote:You could even attempt a recovery program if it isn't too late.AppleQueso wrote:you could try plugging the HDD into your computer and formatting it from there.
I tried everything on the PS3's safe mode (nothing worked) with the exception of reformatting, which I'll of course avoid for the time being.
I'll plug it into my computer first chance I get (I need a cable), so here's hoping.

ticked: Turns out my bank decided it's going to start charging me for checking my balance on another ATM. Not even for withdrawing, just checking my balance. This has only started very recently.
So yeah, my bank is punishing me for trying to keep on top of how much is in my account. Beautiful. I think it might be time to get an account somewhere else.

Check to see if your bank has email/text notification options. I have it setup to get a daily email with my account balances and notification of any transaction above x dollars. I do the same for my credit card (transaction above x dollars). It works great.AppleQueso wrote: So yeah, my bank is punishing me for trying to keep on top of how much is in my account. Beautiful.
