What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Good on you Xerogred...Now get some sleep.

Ticked: Have to take a half day because my asthma is being stupid. It's hard to breathe, and despite my emergency inhaler, the lack of Oxygen is giving me one hell of a headache. Dumb frontal lobes.

Smile: Fresh Strawberries.

Smile: Finally got my GB Player running on a component cable. Oh man, I cannot believe how sharp the graphics are. Metroid Zero Mission looks almost as smooth as Super Metroid now.

Frown: I can never go back. If that component cable were to ever break...
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

@Xeogred
10pm-6am?

I work 11pm-8am, it's not really that bad at all. The hardest thing is adjusting your sleep schedule.

I want to do that.

Just need to scrounge up the crazy cash for those component cables.

Well I got the call earlier today, turns out I just got the part time position but I'm not complaining. I'll try to pickup another part time job for now probably and work that 3 days to pickup 40 hours total for now, then keep my eyes peeled for other options. Since I'll be part time now I imagine I won't opt for benefits and stuff which kind of sucks now, but oh well. It's a start! Got the boring training to do all day tomorrow, my friend said it really sucks but I think it's just one day and hopefully I'm getting paid, lol.

I napped so damn hard today I woke up at 6pm thinking it was 6am the next day and jumped out of bed thinking I needed to eat breakfast and get ready for the training, haha wow. Well hopefully I can actually sleep tonight, I only napped for a few hours instead of sleeping the whole day away... so hopefully that helps a bit.

Indeed, thanks! I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for some full time positions anywhere, gonna scramble around this week and give it another go... I'd maybe even take Best Buy or something (assuming they do benefits and stuff too?), but at least I've got something to help get by a little for now!
