I don't know. I didn't know an arcade version existed until you just posted that query.

I imagine people just want the Saturn version because they can have the satisfaction of playing a super-expensive title without having to spend hundreds for one game.

If I do play it it'll be the xbla version. I'd like to try it out and this would be the cheapest (legal) way to play it. Although, I hear it's a lot like Ikaruga... and I don't like Ikaruga that much...

Maybe because that's not the version people want?

That is my understanding aswell - just cut scenes.

It's nothing like Ikaruga.

Should be out this summer:

I'm anxious for this to come out, I've been wanting to play this game for around ten years now. Never was able to get my hands on a Saturn copy, but the excitement around this title has been there for me. I'll be glad to finally get a chance to try it.

The saturn version has you play stages 2 & 4, in the arcade its one or the other.

There are 5 bosses in the saturn version that are not in arcade, including the legenday phoenix.

Changing difficulty in Saturn mode will drastically change.patterns, and can increase game length, making the saturn version up to 30 minutes longer just counting gameplay.

You can also save your current weapon power upon death and start a new game at that strength, sacrificing the chance to score on the scoreboard.

Its way different, and excellent

EDIT: and imo, much better than Ikaruga.

Absolutely. Just getting out of stage 3 can prove menacing.

We're not screwed. At least not until this turns into a Mega Man Legends 3.

They're a small company. If more people complain, then they'll probably say something.

September seems like a likely release time. Probally release Guardian Heroes around the same time to get the Treasure fans talking again.

You should be in the video game business.
