Awesome article, I've been listening to their podcast but never thought to check the website as well. It's amazing that the guys from the PWTorch try to charge people money for articles like that with their silly VIP membership program when you can find stuff like this on the net for freeRurouni_Fencer wrote:CM Punk Article
Awesome article going back to 2007 when Shawn Michaels expressed faith in Punk. The best part, however, is the two videos featuring CM Punk going to a 6year old John Cena fan's house last week with the belt and being smacktalked by a little kid.

You know what? R Truth's backstage interview on Smackdown just now made me think of those insane promos of the eighties. Macho Man popped into my head. Not saying he's as awesome as Macho Man, just that craziness of his interview talking about eagles and snakes getting their heads ripped off and good R Truths being bad R Truths. I just love this guy right now. He's absolutely nuts and he's pulling it off way better than that Joker ripoff Sting

I'm glad I'm not alone. The majority opinion on the wrestling message board I frequent about R-Truth is a bad one. I love him as a the crazy heel. He plays it quite well. And I'm a big John Morrison fan so this rivalry is great, IMO.Gamerforlife wrote:You know what? So I was flipping channels on Monday and Raw was on so I was checking it out when CM Punk and John Cena were signing the contracts for the fight at SummerSlam and I heard that the Rock might be fighting John Cena at Wrestlemania? Is that true?

Re: The Wrestling Thread
I wonder if the WWE will have John Cena be WWE Champion before Wrestlemania and face the Rock for the WWE Championship and have the Rock win it. That would be pretty cool have the Rock walk away as the Champ.
IDK what the storyline is right now with The Rock/Cena/CM Punk cause I haven't been watching WWE consistently.

Actually, the Rock and Cena match is for the title. This would mean that Punk will probably lose the title though to Cena.Metal Militia wrote:I wonder if the WWE will have John Cena be WWE Champion before Wrestlemania and face the Rock for the WWE Championship and have the Rock win it. Re: The Wrestling Thread
What the hell is happening to TNA?
2 years ago TNA was without a doubt the best wrestling promotion out there. The X-Division was exciting, the tag-team division was untouchable by any other wrestling organization, the Main-Event Mafia storyline was great, and even the Women's Division was good because they had actual wrestlers.
Now look at this crap. They keep fucking Robbie E & Cookie but get rid of Generation Me and Jay Lethal?! WTF?! Immortal is fucking boring. I get it, you're trying to rehash n.W.o. but can't use the name. But instead of paying homage to it, you're just give us a watered-down, pissed on version of n.W.o. And how on God's green Earth did they manage to take the greatest tag-team division in the world, as well as the absolutely amazing X-Division and make them both nearly non-existant? HOW?! Oh, and I hate Joker-Sting.
I just don't get it. Hogan and Bischoff are two of the biggest factors that made WCW in the mid-to-late 90s the greatest wrestling organization in the world. But now they come to TNA and can't seem to pull their heads out of their asses. They're killing TNA and it's killing me to watch it. It's like you can see the end coming because we already saw it happen to WCW when Vince Russo took it over.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
Vince Russo has been the head writer in TNA for quite some time.... explains a lot. For a business that in in most other aspects seems to be based on "What have you done for me lately?", Russo sure seems to coast by solely on his work from the Attitude Era.It's like you can see the end coming because we already saw it happen to WCW when Vince Russo took it over.
