Half Life 2?

Post by The Last Horseman »

Is there a way I can get a stand alone copy of Half Life 2 for my Xbox 360? I wanted it and the episodes that go with it. The only copy avialable I know of is in the Orange Box, and I don't want Team Fortress 2 and I would rather have the Still Alive version of Portal....
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

You can buy Portal outside of the Orange Box on the 360, but that's the only one. TOB is cheap on the 360, just buy it. Or if you really don't want to own TF2, buy HL2 by itself for PC.

Valve priced the Orange Box at what they did because they knew people wouldn't necessarily want/need everything in it.

On the PC you could gift "extra" copies of things you already had to friends on Steam, which made sense considering how many of us already owned HL2 and Episode 1...

Just buy The Orange Box, no one is forcing you to play TF2. Also if you really want to have the Still Alive version of Portal just buy that as well, who's stopping you from having both.

Orange box for the 360 is $20 new on Amazon, $12 used. That would be worth it for HL2 and the episodes alone, doncha think? I mean I got the PC orange box for $25 a year or two ago and still haven't touched Team Fortress...

Fine, I get it. I just feel a little bad about having extra games I don't play.
