Re: New Bloodrayne (Metroidvania style)
Play Dishwasher Vampire Smiles. It's one of the things I love about it. Friendly fire is on for enemies. However, in the few parts of the game where you fight with an ally, friendly fire doesn't apply to you.MrPopo wrote:Wow, not often you see a 2D game where enemies affect each other (knocking one into another).
I wish this new Bloodrayne game was out already. I can't wait for it any longer!

Generally, you don't see that much. I just posted about a doujin game though where one of your principal fighting tactics is smashing enemies into one another. It's called Fairy Bloom Freesia.MrPopo wrote:Wow, not often you see a 2D game where enemies affect each other (knocking one into another).

Anyone interested in this new Bloodrayne game might want to take a quick peek at it. There's a free demo and it might tide you over until Bloodrayne comes out.

Re: New Bloodrayne (Metroidvania style)
I like the new design, but I never had a problem with "sleazy" Bloodrayne. There's sort of a new trend of late to make woman more conservative. Just look at the new Lara Croft. I think there's room enough in the world for respectable ladies like Jade from Beyond Good and Evil and more overtly provocative women as well. I tend to not like it when we go too far in one direction or the other. I like balancewip3outguy7 wrote:A short bit on Rayne's redesign.

I was ok with Sleezy Rayne, too. I mean, that was part of the campy fun of the first two games. But whatever, this new one looks so brilliantly executed that I'm on board no matter what.
