I saw an ad for this early this morning. I'm kinda horrified by it. Are they gonna go with the 3D fighters their series has been using for the last few installments, or do they plan on going retro with a 2D fighter, since they're attempting to compete with MvsC? They better do a good job with Batman...

Poor Batsy. He's going to get represented so horribly here. If he has any fatality moves, I....I don't want to live anymore.

I think I almost vomited in my mouth when I read (elsewhere) about this. Talk about trying to tarnish two birds with one ball of monkey dung.

Too bad it's not 2D...

However, could you imagine Marvel vs Capcom vs Mortal Kombat vs DC?

I was really hoping it was a fake, I liked MK 1 and 2 as a kid, but it's hard to go back after all that KOF and SF3 and the MVsC series. I only played it a few years ago becase SF2 was too complicated for my (then) kid brother.

I really like the DCU characters but really hate the MK fighting style

I've always had this idea running through my head, basically, like mugen, though actually good, where it's essentially every fighter game vs every figther game plus expanded character line up for certain characters. Am I crazy for wanting to have Cable, Haohmaru, and deadpool take on bridget, Batman, and Gouki?

I also had this ridiculous idea for a truly next-gen fighting game that would require GBs of space, as there would be different ways a move could be animated and that walking patterns, supers, and move animations would all have randomly changing variations, not to mention the fully animated 1080p backgrounds with multiple stages. Lol, that'd be pretty sweet.

You know, I've never really liked Mortal Kombat, nor have I ever really liked DC, so I can't say I'm too excited about this.

This might be a big break for both franchises, especially Midway. Since the new MK games were practically dead and DC were going no where fast (games) The gameplay reminds me of MK for DC..

enthusiastic -1 :(
