Oh, hmm I'll have another look over it then because as far as I know I've had my snes since it came out so I'm pretty sure it's official.theclaw wrote:Yeah but I wasn't joking there. A missing channel switch implies that SNES is defective. The smaller model without it, Nintendo didn't bring to your country.
I know how to tune the tv, I've already tuned it into regular tv channels.flojocabron wrote:hook up the super nes to your VCR and play from there.
you may lose some video quality but at least you'll get to play.

Also from what I can tell, your old tv has fine tuning knobs.
Open the little door in the front and there may be some little round things.
they have something like this
VHF 2-6
VHF 7-13
UHF 14-66
Connect your SNES and turn it on, fiddle with the low VHF knob untill a clear picture shows up.
Old TV's did this so you wouldnt have to channel surf through static. You could then program each button to a specific channel
I've also tuned through every setting on the tv with the snes hooked into the vcr and also straight into the tv and all I get is sound, still no picture. Many many hours of tuning with no results.
