Ah nuts. CC canceled The Sports Show with Norm McDonald. For some reason CC seems to always give new shows really crappy time slots, and it is all Larry the cable guy or some awful movie during the day.

Damn. I love Norm McDonald and had been enjoying that show. I just don't think that guy's brand of humor will ever fetch a wide enough audience.

Yeah, I saw ads. But I really think no time slot would work out for him - people don't get his humor. iirc people didn't care for him much on Weekend Update either. The show Norm tanked, too. I saw him do standup after leaving SNL in the late 90s and it was one of the funniest shows I've ever seen live, but too many people don't get his humor.

Recently, I started watching Magic Knight Rayearth on Hulu Plus on 360. Haven't seen a lot yet. In fact, I've only seen the intro credits and the first few minutes after that before I decided to go for a walk.

Also watched the "Jenny Fromdablock" episode of American Dad, which was one I missed when it came on.

And like I said earlier, Power Rangers is on Netflix, as is VR Troopers and Big Bad Beetleborgs. I watched an episode of the first two last night. The quality wasn't too bad, but then again, I was watching on an 4:3 HDTV via an Xbox 360 connected through the component input (component is the best connection available right now, since it doesn't have VGA or HDMI or whatever).

And compared to MMPR, VR Troopers is much more violent and a bit darker, lacking the often-seen comedic moments of MMPR (excluding the talking dog from VRT).

New Curb just got DVR'ed - will check it out later tonight or tomorrow. Glad my favorite comedy is back

Ive been watching SNL the 90s and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on netflix.

Dam SNL was funny in the 90s.
