Re: What are you listening to at the present?
One of the students in the research methods class I teach recommended I listen to Agalloch so I've been listening to them on a youtube playlist for awhile. He told me it's a mix of black metal and folk, which piqued my interest. It's pretty good stuff. The vocals don't always work for me, but they have long songs that develop slow without ever getting boring. It sort of has a similar feel to it as when bands do metal covers of video game music from the NES era.
I'm also pausing every once and awhile to listen to a track or two by Sleepytime Gorilla Museum just because I'm in the mood for it.

thanks! it went really well. we played with some friends in a band called Step Dads and a band from louisville called Trophy Wives. i should have a video of our set up soon. and a demo eventually. guh, being in a 7-person band is a nightmare for getting things accomplished in a timely fashion...fvgazi wrote:I fricken' love unwound!

I haven't listened to them in a while. Love the band.

Sleepytime Gorilla Museum is something else. I had tickets to see them before but ended up not being able to go.
Currently been listening to mostly music from The IDOLM@STER and Genki Rockets. Also, track 5 from Mushihimesama Futari.
