I'd give it a solid 8.5.

Thanks! I love the Dreamcast. It was the only thing that kept me going during my late teens and I was suicidal when Sega discontinued the console. I'm the original owner of most of those games in the collection. It brings me pride knowing that my collection brings justice to such a phenomenal console.

Zero Gunner 2 is a very unique and fun shooter by the folks that made gunbird 2.

Import only, but great fun.

Other shmups you might enjoy, but they can be found cheaper on other consoles for the most part.

Zero Gunner 2?

OMG! I WANT THAT GAME SO BADLY! Next paycheck it is mine. MINE I tell you!

I have the Gamecube version of Ikaruga but it doesn't feel right playing it on anything other than the console it was originally made for. The game is on my to buy list!

If this is an 8.5 then I guess my collection is a solid 25. Cough...

But it's nice to see some Dreamcast love, and you still have a very nice collection... ^^

By the way, there are much rarer games than Border Down. Try The Lost Golem for one...

Well, that makes sense to me!

Hmmm... Marvel vs. Capcom 2 might be nice to have. The shoot 'em ups mentioned by Dunpeal are a good idea to get. Also, you might want to pick up the 10th Anniversary Birthday Sonic Adventure 2 Set. It's pretty nice, coming with a nice booklet, coin, soundtrack, etc. It's not overly expensive, either.

Finally, get yourself a couple ASCII fighting pads (import from Japan). They are SO MUCH better for fighting games (maybe even shoot 'em ups!) then the regular controller. Get a second Hori arcade stick, too. Then you'll be covered for your friends who enjoy fighting games with a pad or with a stick!

Finally, if it was me, I'd probably trim the fat a bit. Get rid of some of the games that you don't care much about. Unless, of course, you care about all your games. :)

As for rating it, I don't see the point. Everyone's preferences are different. You have an awesome collection, so be happy with that. :)

These are some great suggestions guys! I was at first expecting people to tell me how stupid I am for even bothering to collect Dreamcast games so it is nice that I am surrounded by people who can appreciate my hobby.
I am the original owner of most of these games in my collection so I keep them for nostalgias sake. You may have heard me mention in my videos that I view the Dreamcast as the end of the arcade era in gaming before RPG like elements were incorporated in virtually every genre which thus awarded gamers for their sheer patience rather than skill.

Every one of those GD-Roms I own is like a piece of history. While everyone else moves on to their next-gen whatever I feel that I am preserving a piece of history that I hold dear.

I fully embrace next-gen gaming of course but I nonetheless feel the Dreamcast has a charm that has been lost and thus I want to have everything positive that console had to offer.

One thing special about the Dreamcast is that there are very few flat out bad games for the console. There are plenty of games that are just kinda good but there are very few games which are outright crap. It's amazing how high the quality to quantity ratio is for the Dreamcast compared to say the Playstation 2 which definetly has mostly crappy games.
