What was the last movie you've seen?

The Dynasty Warriors 7 cutscenes, I beat the entire Shu scenerio and unfortunately had to take the game back because it was a rental . Somebody did it really well to make it all look like four 45mi. movies.

I think I actually liked Thor more than Captain America. Which is totally not what I expected. I didn't even plan to see Thor in the theater originally.

I think they're both on about the same level, but Thor was funnier, and I thought the action was more interesting. It was a nice change of pace for comic book movies. I don't know, maybe it was just due to my lower expectations for thor and higher ones for Captain America.

Either way, it got me more excited to see all the characters interacting in The Avengers. And while I hate casting changes, I think Mark Ruffalo will make a much better Bruce Banner than Ed Norton. He's great at playing guys you feel bad for (see reservation road) and sort of get taken advantage of, which works perfectly for a guy who loses self control and turns into a giant monster. I can totally picture him trying to keep his anger under control or will himself out of being controlled by Loki.

Look at the bright side, we're getting the old Hulk's voice from the 90's cartoon back again with Lou Ferrigno ( I know I spelled that wrong..lol ) They should just put some green make up on him and have him play his role period! lol

Same here, I do believe in spirits, vibes, etc. but it's just retarded. They always feel sick and shit everywhere they go, all I can learn from that is that they should stop eating at KFC.

Captain America: The First Avenger...well...

When I was 12 years old, I have an idolized view of the world and my country's place in it. Growing up I had enjoyed television programs like The Lone Ranger or Superman because they always emphasized the wholesomeness of their characters and maintained an overall positive worldview despite the constant evil that the characters were faced with. These were simple stories, like classic Hardy Boys books or Flash Gordon serials, but something about them seemed both innocent and powerful to me, as if these were representations of the best we Americans could ever be. While I always felt I had more in common with comic characters like Spider-Man, Captain America was the sort of character I admired and wanted to be like: the Boy Scout who always stood up for good and never let evil get him down, even when the world seemed to be falling apart around him.

Yes, the Captain America plot is simplistic. It wasn't a movie that challenged me mentally or presented itself in such a way as to make me reflect on its artistic qualities. There were parts in it that I wasn't thrilled with, and there were sequences that I felt were just plain dumb at points, or aggravatingly brief. But at its core, the Cap movie made me remember what it was like to be 12 and holding a comic in my hand where the symbol of all goodness and purity and all the best qualities that my country ever had to offer was there fighting tyranny, even that which could only be as ridiculously imagined as in a comic book. Because deep down inside I'm still a little boy who wishes he could be half the man that Captain America is.

Just saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and it was wild. Absolutely loved it.

Of course, it made me want to go back and watch all of the original movies again, because there are details about them that I can't remember and its driving me nuts.
