Yeah, it stars Justin Timberlake. But if you can get past that, watch the trailer. It looks like a really promising sci-fi film, that's NOT a remake.

Had the trailer come up before something I watched on youtube the other day. Normally I just tune out and do something else at my desk until my video starts but that did look interesting. Logan's Run influences obviously, but yeah.

Timberlake's been in good stuff... Black Snake Moan, Alpha Dog, Southland Tales, some of the best Lonely Island skits...

I agree, he's been really good on almost everything he's been in. He was hilarious in Bad Teacher BTW.

I respect Timberlake's acting career. Can't say much for his music though.

I'm not making a judgment on the film, but I laughed my ass off on almost every line delivered in that trailer. Sure it can be a good movie, but if it's that trailer stretched out for two hours I will definitely see it just for laughs. Timberlake is excellent in some movies, but "serious" Timberlake is hard to take seriously. "Solace...Will Solace".

I wish that guy in the beginning of the trailer said "This is My great great great grandmother, this is my great great grandmother, this is my great grandmother, this is my grandmother, this is my wife, this is our daughter, these are her daughters, these are her daughters daughters, etc. I mean, I get why the wife would look somewhat like her Mom, but unless there is some serious inbreeding going on, the descendants should look somewhat different. I mean, their not all identical, but pretty damned close.

But it's great to see that David Healy is getting work again.
