Oh, you are going to looooooovvvve the later bosses. I'll do my best not to spoil anything, but one boss can change dozens of blocks into any other type of block in an instant, remove 5-6 rows of blocks at once, and even freeze you in place for one second whenever they feel like it.
Ugh, this game is as sadistic to players as the story is to all the men in it
but I'll be damned if I let any game get the best of me!
It's a good thing I stocked up on retries last chapter, as it took a bunch of them to finally take the bitch down with a gold rank a couple minutes ago. I kept my anger in check and was persistent and got it done after a half hour of attempts.

There are also a handful of new block types you have to learn later on that REALLY screw things up. Blocks that move on their own accord, blocks that instantly destroy anything that is on top of them (including Vincent, of course), blocks that knock you down if you hang from them, etc.
I've been playing for the past couple of days and it's great. Everything is just done so well and the puzzle segments are a blast. I saw you guys talking about bosses here and was kind of confused, so when I got to the first boss it was just like "wow, this is effin awesome". I'm not finding the puzzles to be too difficult yet though, what's the first one that started giving you guys trouble? I've been playing it through with my girlfriend too, who is not really a gamer, and it seems like she's enjoying it even more than I am. I thought that was weird. Having a second pair of eyes for the puzzle sections is pretty helpful too.

I will say that I seriously considered not playing the game anymore when I got to the bride. So I guess that was my first truly frustrating moment. I feel like the puzzle stages are not really hard. It's the boss stages that are. I've actually found Rapunzel puzzle stages to be harder than the ones in the main game so far

I don't find the game to be that overly difficult (I'm in the final stretch). There were a few times I was getting a little frustrated, but the key is to just stop and look at the blocks and try and figure out what you are supposed to do. After I did that, plus a little trial and error, I would figure them out.
The Boss battles, in my opinion, are some of the easier stages. Because you are being chased by something, and in turn is a significant part of the difficulty, the puzzles themselves aren't actually that complicated. It is just a matter of recognizing them quickly.

you didn't think the Bride was hard? She didn't give you time to stop and think. That's what was difficult.
