List Every NES Accessory You Can Think Of

Post by racketboy »

I had a few people mention that I should do an article devoted to all the accessories (both practical and crazy) that came out for the NES.

Please list every one you can think of and if you can write a few sentences about some, that would be great as well.

Edit: Found this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ni ... ccessories

I could still use some better descriptions of them though.
And if you see any that are missing, lemme know.

I can help with a few:

NES Advantage - Arcade style joystick for the NES. (Nintendo)
NES Cleaning Kit - Used to clean NES1 (front loading) control decks. (Nintendo)
NES Four Score - Allows 4 players to play games at once. (Nintendo)
Game Genie - Cheat code adapter for NES cartridges. Normally only works on the NES1 (front loading) control decks. (Galoob)
Joycard Sanusui SSS - Controller with adapter for headphones. (Hudson Soft)
NES Max - A controller with a sliding control pad and rapid-fire buttons. (Nintendo)
Zapper Light Gun - Official NES light gun. Came in both grey and orange color variations. (Nintendo)

The list is missing the Game Action Replay, I wrote a bit about it here

Also take a look at Vidgame.net's NES accessory index.

I do have some accessories... I might have access to a decent camera, too.

I have:
Miracle Piano with book, cable, overlays
Powerpad
Orange Zapper
Gray Zapper
Powerglove
Original controller
Dogbone controller
NES Advantage
Freedom Connection
NES Satellite
Arkanoid Vaus Controller
UForce controller
Joycard Sansui SSS controller
Game Genie

And... there might be a few more I am missing. I know some of them are fairly common and anyone can do... such as the game genie, regular controller and dogbone, zappers, advantage.... But I know the UForce and Vaus controller and Miracle Piano aren't the most commonly owned accessories out there.

awesome
And just to let you know, I just took a decent picture of my ROB.

Also, if you have both Zappers, do you think you could pull of a layout like this?:

If fastbilly can't do the zappers, I have both somewhere. The only hard part for me will be finding something white to use for the background for pics.
