Generally, if a forum has a multitude of users with avatars of women in suggestive poses, it's not a very good forum. Just something I've noticed. Lots of gif sigs is another indicator. And if a forum has sub-forums devoted to cars or dating, that's another sign of a bad forum. A good forum has limits on the kind of stuff you can put in sigs, loads fast, and focuses on discussions you couldn't normally have with just any random dude you found in the hallway of a high school (meaning, not just talking about girls and cars all the time.)

Yes, I suppose. Why would they seem good to me if they're primarily interested in things I'm not? Say, for example, that you visited a forum that discussed lipstick and high fashion a lot. Wouldn't you think it was mediocre?
