New Atlus game "Catherine"
Re: New Atlus game "Catherine"
I beat the game two nights ago on easy and loved every second of it. I ended up getting one of the neutral endings which sort of confused me as my meter was completely towards Katherine. Eh, oh well I'll just play through the last section again.

God....damn....BRIDE!!!
Think I'm gonna take a day off from playing Catherine. I need a break or I'll break a controller. Gonna play some Shadows of the Damned and maybe take another crack at the bride tomorrow

Wow, was the bride really that hard for everyone? I remember beating that level in 10 tries, tops.Gamerforlife wrote:God....damn....BRIDE!!!

I can't even guess how many tries I took on the bride. Took me a few sittings though. Probably upwards of 2 hours to beat her. Nothing else before or after has seemed so hard to me.lisalover1 wrote:Wow, was the bride really that hard for everyone? Re: New Atlus game "Catherine"
It's her second phase of attacks that were driving me nuts. They're a big change from the type of boss attacks I've had to deal with thus far and has really thrown me off my game. If there was one thing I thought I could rely on in this game, it's the blocks. Then she comes along and messes all that up. I know I can beat her and get the gold, but she was pissing me off so I thought it best to come back to it another day when I've got a cool headnoiseredux wrote:I can't even guess how many tries I took on the bride. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've taken the habit of muting my game during boss fights. You're trying to concentrate on how to move up, while avoiding attacks, being rushed more so than usual and trying to memorize the block patterns. All that's distracting enough without the horrifying and unsettling constant screams and yells, etc. coming from each boss that make your ears want to bleed. It's a cacophony of noise in those stages and it gets tiresome after a while

I thought I beat it but then hit the big 30 min cut scene with tons of plot reveals. Anyway, I'm gonna leave the final boss for tomorrow cuz my brain is friend. But yeah. Still love every moment.
