my blog is up

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Im going to be a dad, in sept. Cerulean if you want you could post on mine, we could make you an account that can do anything but change the look of the site, then vgdads.com makes sense instead of vgdad.com

Congrats in advance then! :)
And if anybody wants to write anything retro-themed for this site, just let me know.

same here, I need to build a nice website for it first though. Hrmmm... this gives me something to do in my off time I guess. Though mine won't be retro game related, sorry guys. It'll be more about game design, game programming, and other stupid little projects I'm working on.
You don't have to set much up.
You could do a Blogger or Wordpress.com free setup or find a host like mine that has Fantastico that will install Wordpress for you.

Nice! Congrats and good luck. Blogging's hard work, but when you connect with people it's worth it.

I am also thinking about starting a gaming blog. Actually have been thinking about it for some time ... just kind of letting the idea percolate. Someday I'll come to the RB forum for advice and encouragement on it, but I'm not ready to do it now.

I already have a host and everything. I just need to actually set up everything, not a lot of time to do stuff with all the other things I'm working on as well.

The one thing I know for certain is that you really need that theme/niche. Look at what Racket has done. I tried a gaming blog once and it was just too general, so I eventually shut it down. It could never compete with a Kotaku (not that that's the point, but anyway).
