Hmm...Attack the Block looks interesting.

I wouldn't rewatch it, I though it was good but that's it.OldSchool_Boy wrote:I remember the scene where she gets her face punched repeatedly being the only beaten scene. Don't remember the BDSM though. Needs a re-watch.

Thirst, a great vampire film although the tone is quite inconsistent, some scenes are incredibly erotic while others are absolutely grotesque.

This is weird. RED STATE is coming out on On Demand first, then to theaters in a few weeks, and the dvd will be released within a month of debuting on On Demand. That's a tight window to make quick cash.

That is very strange. I wonder what the thinking is...Luke wrote:This is weird. RED STATE is coming out on On Demand first, then to theaters in a few weeks, and the dvd will be released within a month of debuting on On Demand. That's a tight window to make quick cash.
In any case, I am looking forward to the film.

9/23 = In theaters
10/18 = Release of dvd
The thinking is "Save money on marketing" and hope that less people are likely to pirate if the movie is available on DVD in a quick manner. Lionsgate seems to be testing the water(s) on several "indie" movie releases. "No venture gained" I guess, but it certainly is an interesting business move.

Kevin Smith is doing it all by himself when it comes to the VOD and Theaters via SModcast Pictures and Lionsgate is distributing for home video.

Really? I like her voice. It's got a no-nonsense tone and a meshing of maturity and childlike cadence.Luke wrote:Lori Petty's voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.
Yes! And what's so great about her is that she's one of the few actresses that are giving the concept of aging naturally a try, in lieu of botoxing, nip/tucking and making-up her face to death.Luke wrote:But she is cute.
Also, did you see her in Masters of Horror Presents: The Fair-Haired Child?

Just finished watching The Bourne Ultimatum, thus ending my treck through the Bourne trilogy. After watching all 3, I think I like Bourne Supremacy best. It had a really good chase at the end.
