Thanks for the input guys. And yeah, I'm aware that Lunar 1 and 2 on the Saturn are Jap only but I figured I may be able to get ahold of a translation, if you know what I mean. -nudge nudge-

Any particular reason for this? I intend to play through some of the early Tomb Raiders soon, so would be neat if the Saturn version had some new stuff I never experienced.

It's true I have both versions. Now there are a couple other things the ps1 does better. The draw distance, frame rate and texturing is much better. But when I play MML through my ps2 through component cables I find that all the advantages the n64 did have aren't as good anymore, except the character faces which look more cartoony, load times and the crazy camera mess-ups the ps1 version has at times.

So I've been thinking of getting RE2 for the Gamecube again but now that I have every console in which it has been released I was wondering if there is a better version of the game, so, should I stick with the GC version, the N64 version, the DC version or the PS1 version?

You're gonna wanna go with the Game.com version.

I believe the DC version is the best version of the original game. It's the most up to date port and has the visual upgrades that the PC version brought in. Honestly there's nothing that significantly different between the GC/PS1/DC/PC versions though. You should probably just go for whatever console/controller you prefer.

The N64 version on the other hand I've heard does a lot of things differently. I've never played it myself though so I can't fill you in there.

That isn't what I meant.

Anywho, KillerJuan77, as far as RE2 goes, you can't really go wrong with either one. I prefer the DC version myself. GC and DC version as far as I know are pretty much the same though.

The GC version is just a straight up port of the PS1 game. The DC version has some extra features, improved visuals (both the FMVs and in-game), and it does that cool thing with the VMU where it shows your health/condition.

RE2-RE3 on the Cube are definitely not worth the prices I'd say, best off just getting them on the PSX or DC.
