Reminds me of a comic strip I saw when I was a kid... probably more than 15 years ago.
Kid was playing an NES. Father says "Why don't you try playing outside?" Kid rummages through game collection. "Sorry dad, I don't have a game called that."
Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains. Fade to black.

Which reminds me of the Foxtrot comic in which Jason's mom tells him to go play outside. He responds by moving the couch, TV and game console outside and playing there.
