It wasn't even really the same game anymore. It was totally different, although I'll agree it was more fun.

Edit: Wait, I just realized that you probably didn't mean Bionic Commando for GBC. In that case, I can't really comment, as I've only played the NES and Xbox 360 version of that game.
Your edit is correct. I'm referring to Bionic Commando on the original Game Boy, not the GBC spin-off. Now that you mention it though, Reloaded is a lot better, assuming it counts (probably shouldn't).

You mean Rearmed, right?

I always liked Gargoyle's Quest (GB) over Gargoyle's Quest II (NES) which was styled as a prequel to the Game Boy game. The NES version was later ported to the Game Boy in Japan, and as far as I can recall, it's not very often a direct port went from NES to GB.

Of course, the follow-up on SNES (Demon's Crest) is my favourite in the series, but for some reason I like the GB game better than the NES one.

I've only ever played Gargoyle's Quest on GB and Demon's Crest.. Is Gargoyles Quest II on NES really that bad, or is it worth looking into?

It's not that it's bad, I just felt the Game Boy version was better. Give it a try, see what you think. I might like it better today, I was much younger when I played the three initially.

hope you ppl who like donkey kong better on the gameboy, arent saying that Donkey Kong Country is bad.

and i might add that i cant stand the Donkey Kong Land games, when you get moving fast its hard to keep track of the terrain, but yeah Donkey Kong Country > Gameboy Donkey Kongs.

The GBC versions of Mega Man X are really good. Whether or not the GBC version is better is up to personal taste.
