Maxing out my 360

Post by The Last Horseman »

I'm looking to get all I can for my 360 right now, and I want to get all of those little games nobody has heard of, etc. I'll take advice on big hits too. I have these:
Brutal Legend
Bully:Scholarship Edition
Halo Reach
Guitar Hero 5
Elder Scrolls 4
Left 4 Dead 1/2
Gears of War 1/2
Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise
LA Noire*
Assassins Creed 1/2*
Red Dead Redemption
(Games with stars I'm thinking of Selling)

I'm still on the fence about keeping LA Noire, as I can sometimes get into it, but often it feelse like a chore. I'm not sure... I know I don't have the Fable Games or Halo 3, but don't mention them because they sucked. Games I want to get include:
Earth Defense Force Games
Batman:Arkhum Asylum
Death Smiles?
Shadows of the Damned?
Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon
(?=Not sure)

Any other suggestions? I know this is not as easy to answer compared to me asking this about Playstation 3 or Wii.

See, I heard both of those were bad. Are they good? I've also recently looked at a Conan game, Dante's Inferno, and Dark Void, now that I think of it.

I'm in a hurry, can't look those up now, but are they turn based battle RPG's? Because those tend to bore me. I guess its the fact I don't feel in the action.

I'm also looking into either picking up Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas. I had Fallout 3 at one time, but I sold it because the game made me slightly sad at the fact that there wasn't anything ever happy... There was humor, but not enough to keep me in. I know that's kinda the enviroment of the game, but still. I don't know how New Vegas is. When I've gone back to play Fallout 3 at my friend's houses after I sold it, I had a lot of fun playing around and doing different dumb stuff with my friends, like making a racist character that had the Abe Lincoln artifacts, among others.

Bumping, and adding I would like to look at some of the shmups on the system. All I know of is Deathsmiles, and I have no idea what region free/American ones I can pick up.

Import either Espgaluda 2 Black Label or Mushihinami version 1.5 or however you spell it. Both are region free but in JPN language. I'd argue that all bullet hell Cave shmups are similar but I know I'm gonna get crapper on for saying that. Both were released in platinum greatest hits versions.

I've got both and they're sweet but I haven't
given either the time they deserve.

As far as digital games go, you need to check out both Dishwasher Dead Samurai games and Castle Crashers

Viva Pinata is a great retail title that doesn't get talked about much, might not be your cup of tea though

Also, the Darkness is a really good game that is getting a sequel. I started playing Shadows of the Damned yesterday and it's awesome! And for the love of god, check out Catherine!

Forgot to give a plug for Silent Hill Homecoming. People kinda bashed it for being another over-the-shoulder shooter but it is pretty good and has some great melee combat.

You can't go wrong with The Orange Box, either. It contains Half-Life 2, HL 2 Episode 1, HL 2 Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. An excellent value pack.
