Nice, yoga is pretty intense actually. I'm keeping up with it myself. Weight isn't an issue for me (it is a weight loss video I have actually), but I am starting to think I'm seeing changes with my gut/stomach, which is definitely out of shape. I know diet plays into that as well, but maybe this'll be a good way to trim off some of that fat. I remember last year when I got back into working out I was doing situps and stuff all the time, but more than likely ran into the problem that I was probably building up my abs, but I just wasn't losing that excess fat on my gut so I wasn't seeing much improvement there. Maybe this yoga will do the trick.
What positions did you do? lol, I hate warrior 2!

You didn't strike me as a yoga man Xeogred.

Surprise surprise.
It really is pretty intense stuff. I think I'll stick with it to try and get back into shape, get some energy back, then go back to normal workouts and such. Since I don't really want to lose weight or anything, just hopefully trim off the stomach. I would definitely like to rebuild some muscle/definition, which was happening last year when I finally -really- got back into working out, was taking a fitness class and everything, but then that I got a damn hernia. 8 months later I think I'm finally ready to get active again, been doing yoga off and on with some 7 minute workout my friend showed me online and some iron gym stuff, all mixed up for the last two weeks or so. My stomach is feeling pretty "tight" right now maybe from the yoga, I hope that's a good thing. Hehe.
Iron gym does some crazy stuff to your arms, hot damn. In the one month I messed with it last year it was pretty insane what it did, I guess I'm lucky that it runs in the family a bit, it's easy for us to build muscle (my mom hates it of course lol), but yeah the real battle is going to be fixing my diet and probably some other internal health issues I've got going on.
For an update on this thread, I am getting so pissed off at my wireless connection it's insane. I have no idea what's up lately but it's been a few weeks now and it's constantly dropping, I can't play online games worth crap anymore, can barely download anything because it'll drop during a download canceling them, etc. I only get like 2-3 bars max now. I looked into wireless repeaters but damn they're like $80 on average, wish I had the money. This is pretty annoying.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
See, I'm trying to lose weight and get back into shape. I'm hoping Yoga will provide some flexibility training as well as the spiritual exercises I need to stay focused and compliment my daily physical training.. We did Warrior 1 and 2, and I gotta say it didn't bother me much because it's basically a fencing lunge, with your torso positioned to the front as opposed to the side, as we're accustomed to in fencing. For me, downward dog was a bit uncomfortable, as my body isn't used to being in a position other than at a computer or on the couch with a gamepad..Xeogred wrote:Nice, yoga is pretty intense actually. What you really meant to say was:

Opa, you should stick with that avatar. It's badass.
On a similar note, I saw you were playing Last Window via your Backloggery. How did it stack up to the first one?

Maybe if it's another Casey Anthony case.. But in this part of New Jersey, it's probably a drunken driving case..Opa Opa wrote:What you really meant to say was:Rurouni_Fencer wrote:Smile: Jury Duty.. - I feel so awesome!![]()

I don't mean to sound like a pompous jerk but yes. Yes it is. I'm going to keep this one for a while.brunoafh wrote:Opa, you should stick with that avatar. It's badass.
Haven't beaten it yet but so far it's really, really good. I really like them both equally.brunoafh wrote:On a similar note, I saw you were playing Last Window via your Backloggery. How did it stack up to the first one?
If you played the first one and liked it; you owe it to yourself to import the sequel.
