Is there a reason why they can't have save points BEFORE the puzzle stages? So I don't have to go through the same stupid story bits over and over again every time I die

they do. Y'know when you're at the landing where all the sheep hang out? There's a book on a table. You can save by reading the book.Gamerforlife wrote:Is there a reason why they can't have save points BEFORE the puzzle stages? And then you have to go through the confessional stuff and the survey question before you can start the stage. That's getting on my nervesnoiseredux wrote:they do. Loving everything else about the game though, but that's annoying. It's one of those age old japanese gaming problems. Saves should be EXACTLY before a stage or boss fight
Anyway, this game is addicting as hell. I wish I knew how many stages are in the Rapunzel arcade game

My sis was wondering the same thing. Wild guess here, isn't it 64? I recall the 'story' scene in Rapunzel saying something around the lines of:Gamerforlife wrote:Anyway, this game is addicting as hell. I wish I knew how many stages are in the Rapunzel arcade game
"Bring me 8 pieces of silk a day for 8 days."
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

You're way ahead of me. I'm on stage 3. Just nabbed gold for all chapter 2 stages and unlocked Babel mode, which is hard as fucknoiseredux wrote:jeeeez I cannot even find the checkpoint in the Bride boss battle!

The toughest thing about this game for me is that it's from the Tetris school of puzzle games. I'm great at games like Braid, Crush, Portal, etc. where you have all the time in the world to solve a puzzle. Catherine is constantly rushing you. On the plus side, memorization helps a lot....until you play Babel mode

yeah there's a lot of memorization. Learning little bits of the puzzle at a time. It's tough. The part I'm on is the end of Stage 5. But yeah. Fuck. It gets hard. Haha.

What difficulty are you all playing on?
