I thought they'd be worth a pretty penny because Mario-themed collectibles are generally valuable, but a quick look at ebay seems to indicate otherwise. They do look pretty cool though.

Found a few nice things today. The local game store gave me:
Asteroids (CIB) for $2.89 and
Radiata Stories + Guide for $7.99.

It was 1/2 price day at the local thrift stores today:
Game Informer mags and Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi guide for $0.13 each
Genesis Lightgun $0.50
Dreamcast web browser 2.0 $1
still sealed Super Mario Super Show DVD ( ) $1
little Guitar Hero game $0.50
Final Fantasy 10 pillow $1.50
Mario's Early Years CD Rom collection (no jokes, it was just a really cute find  ) $1
and my favorite find of the day a Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro for the PS2 for a whopping $2.50. One of the thrift stores actually had some PSP and Gamecube games, but they wanted $20 and $10 for each game respectively. Even for 1/2 price, their crappy titles weren't worth it :?

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to disinfect my new FF pillow

Yeah, got that same feeling today. Thought that Mystic Quest, Life Force Salamander and Wario Land 4 would be worth a little more. Seems like I was wrong. Not that I'm not happy with my purchase, but I wouldn't have bought that Mystic Quest had I known... lol

That is an awesome pillow. I wonder if that was a set or something.

Mystic Quest isn't all that bad, I think it's got some redeeming qualities. It's a simple RPG so it's boring at times, but the music is awesome.

Pretty sure that's just a Famiclone lightgun. The rest of the stuff looks cool though.

Is it? I know it fits into my Genesis, but I don't have it hooked up (need a new connector) so I couldn't test it just now and I don't have any Famiclones. Doesn't have any name on it though, so you're probably right. Oh well.

My Famiclone with a gun looks almost exactly like that and plugs in with a DB-9 socket like that. The DB-9 is a standard plug, so it is cheap. Sega, Atari, and Commodore used those plugs for price reasons too.
