Just played the demo, it was very interesting. The puzzle stages are frantic. It feels more like an arcade game than a regular puzzle game. I don't get the Q bert comparisons. It's not like that at all, but I guess it's the closest thing people can think of to compare it to.
I like the game's style and humor and I thought the voice acting was pretty good. What's most interesting to me is how choice factors into the story. That's a key thing that kept me playing Heavy Rain til the end

I didn't say you could.
It's still probably displaying the pre-order edition. There's a chance you might get the cd/book.
I'll eat my mouse if the "pre-order" edition doesn't magically surface again between now and next year on Amazon or Newegg.
The game was shipped to Amazon with the art book and soundtrack shrinkwrapped with it. So the first run is going to have it. They can guarentee that everyone who preorders gets it. But beyond that it's up to luck.

I don't get QBert either. It's very much a descendant of Sokoban though, like I said earlier. Also, funny you mention arcade games... you see when you're "awake" and hanging out in the bar, you can play an arcade game called Rapunzel which is basically and 8-bit version of the nightmare puzzles.
Does anyone know if gamestop got the original box art for ps3 with Catherine doing the suggestive pose with her tshirt? I was given a giftcard back for my birthday in May that I still need to get rid of for the evil empire. Best Buy only got the alternate versions with their faces, which I absolutely don't want.
Had a few hours to play this morning. Got to chapter 6 and finished the first climb. The Ice Blocks in chapter 5 where interesting and I accidently died several times because of my own foolishness. The first climb in chapter 6 took me close to 45 minutes to beat for some reason. Was very satisfying when I finally finished it though. Cant wait to play some more. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it before we leave town on Tuesday.

that's the version I got (from GameStop). I didn't even know there was an alternate version.
