This week, Arino plays Might Bomb Jack. It's like he is playing all the games that I could not defeat from my childhood! This game was so infuriatingly hard and I never did beat it, though I got really close to the end. I've devoted more time to trying to complete Mighty Bomb Jack than I care to admit.
This game is so infuriatingly difficult that someone even made a video game about sado-masochism where the gameplay of Mighty Bomb Jack is the chief form of masochistic behavior.

i have major issues with the kotaku episodes....but it's not in what you would think. the announcer's voice is annoying but for me tolerable. my issue lies within the fact that kotaku cuts the really awesome segments where arino talkes to producers of games or he visits gamecenters. these segments are really great to watch and I would recomend using http://www.gaki-no-tsukai.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2653
downloading and watching the full thing is a lot more fun than watching on kotaku. not to mention there is a bit more episodes actually subbed and there is typically a new one each week.

To those racketboy users that, like me, find Kotaku's content lacking and ethics... questionable, I highly suggest the very well written Rock Paper Shotgun for your gaming-related news.
Seriously. Check them out if you haven't already.
