I agree with many of the people on here, while I did play excessively during my highschool years now that I'm a grown up with responsibilities and limited spare time I don't do it anymore and even when I do have the time I feel wierd if I sit still for more than a few hours without moving.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

I can't. It gives me headaches. I don't understand how people play games for hours on end. If I play in the morning, I feel bad all day long. I have to do anything gaming related in the evening or else it really messes me up.

Yeah, I do sometimes. It's summer and haven't had much to do the last few weeks. Without wheels and my friends are miles away. I still take a walk every day though.
I was reading somewhere than gaming "addiction" is more of a social disorder than an actual addiction.

Older. Not wiser.

Mental addiction is something I couldn't ever grasp my head around.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I was reading somewhere than gaming "addiction" is more of a social disorder than an actual addiction.

You all have lost your way. I'm grown up with responsibilities and I still get in 6 hours/day on the weekdays and 12 hours/day on the weekends.Droid party wrote:I agree with many of the people on here, while I did play excessively during my highschool years now that I'm a grown up with responsibilities and limited spare time I don't do it anymore and even when I do have the time I feel wierd if I sit still for more than a few hours without moving.

You're kidding, right? What you do with your free time is your business....just wow. Truth be told, I'm mildly jealous.MrPopo wrote:You all have lost your way. I'm grown up with responsibilities and I still get in 6 hours/day on the weekdays and 12 hours/day on the weekends.

I saw this story a bit earlier on Yahoo. It's really just sad, but I can't imagine sitting still for so long each day to play games. I just can't do it. I have to at least move around a little bit. The only time I've been immobile that long was the few times I was too sick to move. And even then it drove me nuts not being able to get up. The longest I've been able to go at a time is when friends have been around and we were having a fighting game marathon. By myself, my gaming sessions usually last between 2-3 hours. I do have other interests after all.

I know what you mean. Soda's the same way. Starting the day with a Coke and some Crash Bandicoot = feeling cruddy all day.wootcube wrote:I can't. It gives me headaches. I don't understand how people play games for hours on end. If I play in the morning, I feel bad all day long.

I have rededicated myself to getting in more gaming lately, but I play for only maybe an hour or two when I do play.

Now, I end up moving around all the time, since I get antsy if I sit in one position for too long. So I'm on one couch cushion, then the other, then lay down on the couch, then move to the recliner, etc.s1mplehumar wrote:You're kidding, right?
