I'm going to see that next weekend with some friends if everything pans out.
Daniel Craig is as wooden and annoying as actors come, but I'm hoping Harrison Ford saves the show.
What was the last movie you've seen?

It seems like a fun popcorn flickAck wrote:Cowboys & Aliens...I liked it. It entertained me, which is all I wanted it to do.

If you like to see Ford grumble and growl a lot, then yeah, he provides a good performance. It's certainly not Favreau's best film, and the alien design is kind of dumb, but I think it is worth seeing.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote: Daniel Craig is as wooden and annoying as actors come, but I'm hoping Harrison Ford saves the show.

I loved Cabin Fever, Hostel and Hostel Part II... not so much. And I do know he made the commentary on Bloodsucking Freaks (Such a terrible movie but it's so cheesy and it tries so hard to shock viewers that it's just campy, it's still fun to watch just for the sake of controversy) and Ichi The Killer. He needs to make a commentary track on the A Serbian Film DVD, now that would be interesting.noiseredux wrote:I actually really like his movies.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Yeah, we made a few jokes about this after the film, namely that most of Ford's scenes make him come off as senile. I've not read the comic book, so I can't say much about whether the alien design is true to the comic. But it's still a decent flick if you want something you can turn your brain off for and munch on popcorn.Luke wrote:If you like to see Ford grumble and growl a lot, then yeah, he provides a good performance. Iron Man rocks! Except for The Crow, I consider it the best comic book based movie ever made. And yes, I think it's better than The Dark Knight so let's just get that out of the way. (I thought Batman Begins was better anyways)Luke wrote:IRON MAN and the two you mentioned.Limewater wrote:

I'd place IRON MAN over THE CROW just for sheer entertainment value, but THE CROW definitely wins the award for best superhero movie soundtrack.BurningDoom wrote:

I liked BEGINS, but it just drags too much for me. Not that TDK doesn't, but the action makes up for it, and I'm not a huge fan of origin stroies that take so long, but it's fair to say a movie named BEGINS will contain a drawn out origin.
Best Superhero movie ever? .....I have no clue. I loved the 1989 BATMAN, but there are so many to choose from. It's not my favorite, but THE ROCKETEER received some amazing reviews.
