Need Help

Post by pocket »

O.K. here goes. My little cousin spilled a lot of soda on my DS. Instead of telling me she hid it. So 3 days later I find it melded to a magazine.
That is not the worst part, some soda got in the DS slot and now my copy of Shiren the Wanderer is melded inside and will not budge. How do I get it out?

Read the forum guidelines before posting?

A helpful title would be nice.

Does the DS still turn on? If it still turns on then there might be a point to helping you :)

Not to sure if I would turn it on. When something like this happens to any of my electronics I immediately take it apart and clean out the offending liquid as quickly as possible, then I let the device dry thoroughly (24 hrs). I did this after my cell phone sat in a puddle for 2 hours and it works to this day.

I'd find a dismantling tutorial and clean the hell out of it. If it's like anything else I've dismantled, you should be able to get to the game and pull it out just fine...
